Buyers from 22 countries have purchased tickets to this season’s Global Series games in Stockholm. 18 U.S. states are traveling abroad for the NHL Global Series this season. | Stanley Cup champion Golden Knights reclaim #1 spot, as Vegas sees surge in fans traveling to games | • The Golden Knights are the #1 team for the fourth time (they topped the list in 2017, 2018 and 2019). Their sales up nearly 3x compared to last season.
They are outselling the #2 Toronto Maple Leafs by over 30%. They’ve appeared on every StubHub NHL Preview top teams list since their creation in 2017.
The team is attracting ticket buyers to Vegas from 49 states in the US and 13 countries. The Golden Knights play in the #1 in-demand game of the season, the NHL Winter Classic matchup against the Seattle Kraken, a re-match from last season’s playoffs. They play in three of the top five in-demand games of the season.
• The Toronto Maple Leafs are the #2 in-demand team, for the second year in a row. Sales are nearly double (91%) sales for last season at this time.
They are the #2 traveling team, with the second highest average ticket price as the visiting team. The Maple Leafs play in the top two NHL Global Series games in Stockholm, against the Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota Wild. Two of their home games make the top 10 highest-selling games of the season: Their home game against the Montreal Canadiens lands at #8 and their home game against Chicago Blackhawks is #9.
• The Bruins land at #3, after a record-breaking season. They have sold 25% more tickets, compared to this same time last season.
The Bruins are the #1 travel team heading into this season driving the highest average ticket price as the visiting team. After having the most successful regular season in NHL history they outsell their rival, #4 New York Rangers, by nearly 25%.
They play in two of the top 10 games of the season when they host the Chicago Blackhawks for the #2 highest-selling game of the entire season and when they face the Montreal Canadiens in the #6 most in-demand game.
